I bought this phone from a dealer as an unsold unit. It's in immaculate condition. No visible signs of usage (atleast to my eyes). It's 4gb/64gb dual sim variant. Model no is SM-G960F.

I got it to try Samsung dex mode. Used it for few days. Then lost interest in dex mode. Very minimally used. Everything works. The phone feels great on hands for it's compact glass sandwich design and edge amoled, which is missing in current phones.

Just phone and case. No box, charger. Warranty or invoice.

Got the phone. I'd not say its in prestine condition. Its good but there are a lot of micro scratches on the screen. And a very small dent on top. Anyways, OK with the deal. Condition was around 4 instead of 5.
Sorry that he is not happy. I should be extra careful in describing it seems. It was used for few days. Not brand new. I have mentioned the same. Getting S9 brand new is close to impossibility. They way we see condition is subjective. Better to inspect physically I think.

You seem to be contradicting yourself. In the post describtion you have mentioned it as "like new, imaculate condition, and no visible signs of usage" which is entirely different from having microscratches and a small dent.

That's why I said I should be extra careful in narrating. I have mentioned it that it was used for few days and you are not quoting that. It appeared as close to new for my eyes. It should be microscopic usage marks showing at an angle.

People are eager to jump in if they have to blame someone.

Don't worry about it. Yea may be next time usage of mint, immaculate should be limited. But getting S9 in this decent condition is still ok.

Just my 2 cents since the deal is already done. FS threads should avoid using linguistc terms that are relative and should be objective to a dot. For eg item condition for a PSU has a different meaning than that for a GPU or a Motherboard, I wouldn't mind a few scratches on the PSU and might not even notice it. Smartphones, tablets, and other handheld devices are a separate class. Just mention the purchase date, click some macro shots of the edges and corners along with other mandatory pics, and get on a video call with the buyer. At no point should the seller describe the item condition in words cuz even if he is 100% honest that might not translate well to another person's expectations.

You can find people on TE who are immaculate when it comes to product description, setting expectations, and price. Either way, you learned something.

To buyers: Ask for pics, a video even, macro shots to corroborate. I know there will always be doubt but that's the point having that doubt lowers your expectations.
