Sabayon 3.5 [ Final Stable Release]

Sabayon Linux uses Gentoo's Portage system for package management, and all updates and base characteristics are in synchrony with Gentoo's portage tree and other mechanisms. So, users can follow guides and articles written for Gentoo users. But "world updates" are discouraged for beginners or those new to Gentoo,
as the structure is a little different and requires a slightly different method of execution. A guide has been written by a Sabayon Linux developer on how to do global updates and recompilation of all packages.

^^Well its in initial stage and I don't think it won't evolve much right now.. As far as Sabayon .. A Nice GUI Package Manager better than current Portrage would be of great addition .. Hope Entropy would be easy to use ! Otherwise Sabayon is gr8 distro to hang out with..

Darky are you going to give it a shot ? I want to see how entropy is, compared to other package managers. That would be a make or break deal for me.

Yes I would love to give it a try. My hand are itching to get its DVD :D But I have a low speed Internet can't download it.. Relying of LFY :D

yeah I'm hoping that one of the mags this month will distribute it as well. I was kind of happy when I got Sabayon PE earlier but by the time I installed it and went to the IRC channel it seems that it wasn't supported anymore
