- CPU - AMD Ryzen 2700 (based on price to performance I have selected this)
- Motherboard - B450 or X570 chipset series but need 4 slots of ram minimum 64gb & 6 HDD plugs with 1 M.2 onboard.
- GPU - 4k capable GPU DDR 5 or DDR6 with 6gb ram minimum, having Open CL 4.5, GPU should be able to use PCI 4 slot if X570 is opted for.
- PSU - if the graphic card needs more powerful PSU only then I need to buy else will use the older one
- RAM minimum 2x16gb DDR4 3200 Mhz (single stick 16gb)
- Sata HDD M.2 500gb for OS
Sata HDD 1tb for the current data being processed
HDD 2TB for long term of data storage.

- Yes, will upgrade the following within 24 months, I buy motherboard capable of Ryzen 7 & Ryzen 9 series so later can upgrade .

- RAM - 32gb DDR4 3200 Mhz (making total 64gb in future)

- Open to online purchase but have never done this so not sure how the warranty (if needed) can be claimed,
local dealer can get me replacement much faster so I have minimum downtime.

- Yes I can consider if the machine is in good condition & meets my editing requirements, need to test the PC before buying.

- Not really my last Asus build was based on suggestion by forum members & I bought it based on their experience although I was new to Asus then.

- No gaming No over clocking only serious editing.
- What is your preferred monitor resolution for gaming and normal usage
- 1920x1200 will do as I am retaining my old dell monitor, will upgrade to 4k monitor later hence the GPU should be 4k capable.
- Are you looking to overclock?
- No not at all
- Which operating system do you intend to use with this configuration?
- Windows 7 64 bit, already own it just need to migrate to new PC
