Remedy for kidney stones?

5-6 months ago I was diagnosed with 3 kidney stones and tried 3 different remedies and like most negligent people I also didn't go for an ultrasound after that as it seemed to be taken care of.
But yesterday I had some pain in my abdomen and dark brown urine with some traces of blood.
Went to Doctor today and I still have those 3 stones but now bigger in size.
So I asked a friend who was diagnosed with it about 1-1.5 years ago and all he took was Neeri syrup along with Himalaya Cystone tablets and he was well in 2 months. Never had any problem after that and his stones were also larger than mine.
Should I follow his technique?
2 stones are in middle and lower calyx while 3rd one is in pelviuretric junction.

dont try things. go to a doctor and get the proper treatment. doctors know what is best not your friend.

Yeah I have been to Doctor and would be showing him my reports tomorrow. Wanted to see if anyone else has any experience with the above mentioned medicines. BTW, my friend's mother is a nurse so I thought why not try it.
Yeah I am drinking lots of water now even though that's a problem but I am trying to drink as much as I can.

Do what the doctor suggests. Treatments dont work the same way with all people.
Stone size & location will determine the treatment.

I also had stone. Started eating lot of watermelons and peed a lot. One time peed dark brown whole day. Went to doctor for checkup, he said the stone was gone due to fluid intake. Dont remember the stone size though. Also lot of fluids does not mean lot of water...u should include various juices or watery fruits.;)

If you believe in Homeopathy, you can give it a try. No personal experience, but I have heard homeopathy has good treatment for kidney stones. Along with this increase your fluid intake. Give it a month or two.

Mohit

Kidney stones need to be taken seriously. No home remedies & no homoeopathy please. Visit a good urologist. Undergo a surgery, if the the doctor recommends (usually, if the stones are large & won't come out with the urine).
Nowadays, a non-invasive technique is used for surgery called RIRS, no cuts are made and the patient can go home in a couple of days.

My friend was diagnosed last year and he came to know about it only when he collapsed complaining of a sudden severe unbearable abdominal pain.
Was immediately rushed to hospital and got all scans done.
Had 2-3 stones cant remember its size.
He was operated by some laser treatment and the stones got melted and peed down. Was out of hospital in 4 days.

He hardly use to drink 5 glasses of water and just use to have coffee and tea and bakery stuff.

Now doctor has banned everything for him...no hard and cold drinks or any aerated drinks. Just plain water, juices, fruits and coconut water.
And ya no chinese or spicy food.

^guys please dont suggest homeopathy bullshit. :banghead:
Agree! My dad made the same mistake. Took homeopathy medicine for three years. The stones only got larger in the meantime & an open surgery had to be performed instead of laproscopy as a result.

Yeah that is how its done nowadays. They insert an instrument by the urethra & break the stone into small pieces. Usually it takes a few days to get the system clear by saline drips. Its non-invasive & painless.
My friend underwent the surgery & it took about 10-15 mins & he was released after two days.

Caffeine & soft drinks are a strict no-no atleast for a year. Also they ask to not eat root vegetables like carrots & radish.

Homeopathy is purely shit and trash. One who has ample of time and money only to waste can opt for homeopathy.
I wasted a year for nasal issues and it was resolved in the end by visiting an ent. spl. :)
My sister and gf wasted their 3-4 years as well. :disrelieved:
My couple of friends wasted their 2-5 years.
..and more examples... incl. treatments from batras.

So at least for me homeopathy is a sick and pentium 1 therapy. Better drink alcohol than those alcoholic sago balls and tons of restrictions on your lifestyle.:inpain:
It can only be practiced by reverting back to 1000yrs back where then the lifestyle was perfect.

And please dont recommend those batras...they are actually khatras to your life and money. Its better to carry your stones with you rather than visiting batras for a sure shot khatra.:arghh:

Beer is good for Kidney stones. - Fact

Anyways I had 2 kidney stones of which one is still being nurtured by me. As it was too small and isn't causing an issue.

The one that was causing a problem had entered the urinary tract. The doctor made me undergo Hydrotherapy at home. Within 2 days the problem causing stone was out.

I have been advised to avoid stuff like Tomato skin, Spinach etc.,

Homeopathy worked wonder for me. I had a wart on my left thumb, it started off as a small mole then it grew to 3cm across. It was hard and felt like a stone has been attached to my thumb. Showed it to 3 different skin specialists, got no solution. One even suggested to get a biopsy done for melanoma. After an year or so, three more moles started on the thump and they got me worried. My mom forced me to visit a homeopathy doctor, he gave a liquid and few sugar balls. I only took them for 4 days and stopped as I had no trust in homeopathy. Miraculously the wart fell off from my thumb after 10 days and never grew back. Now I have no signs of ever having a wart.

Homeopathy is FAKE medicine. homeopathy is pseudo science works on the basis of placebo and nocebo effects. There is an open challenge of one million dollars.

Dont I have to have trust in the doctor/medicine to gain any placebo effect. Even I dont trust homeopathy, I tried only because of pressure from my mother(it was easier to go for it than saying NO :shifty:) and I didnt take it for whole 3 months, just 4 days. And to my surprise the wart fell off after 4 days and the only conclusion I can make off is that medicine or liquid or whatever.

Might be just a coincidence. But good that it was cured after a long time.

yeah Am really really happy that its cured now and no re-occurrence too. It ate my mind, sort of became OCD, touching the thumb and feeling sad.
