PC Peripherals PSU Suggestion

This is my config

C2D E7500
4gb ram
gigabyte g31 mobo
500gb hdd (will be adding another hdd
8800gts (may be get a 9 series card)
samsung dvdrw

Now im confused abt these psus .... :huh:

Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 460W
FSP Saga II 500W
Corsair CMPSU-400CX
Gigabyte 80 Plus Active PFC 460W
which one should i go for ??

Efficiency wise, the CX400 > FSP SII500 > Gigabyte Superb 460 > CM EPP 460.

What exactly is your budget? If you can squeeze a VX450 for 3.7k odd, that would be your best bet. The VX packs in a 5 year warranty compared to the 3 year warranty offered by the CX400. The VX might as well last you for a couple of upgrades down the line.

Yes, invest in a VX450. Will server your system well and also provide headroom should you go for a better GPU down the line.

My choice would be VX450>SAGA II 500.

The Giga 460 is same as the SAGA II 400. And kick out the CM EPP 460 from the list. Its bringing shame to others in the list. Or replace with a CM RP 460 on that list to do proper justice.

So atlast i got a corsair vx450 today
