So, i just recieved my X360 controller for PC that i ordered a week ago.
I pop the driver cd in and it tells me, i do not meet the requirements, because i need Windows XP Service pack 1 or 2 to be able to install them
Annoyingly, im using XP SP3.
Im supposed to install the driver before i plug the controller in via USB.

Suggestions?

I hav faced the same problem myself...all u need to do is install the driver manually...i.e. extract the files in a folder, then frm device manager update driver and point to the folder containing the driver files

I tried this as well, it doesn't update when i point it to the folder.
I extracted Xbox-360-CC-x86-ENU.

EDIT: Just connected the controller w/o installing drivers, turns out it works perfectly :ashamed: with force feedback and everything....
Thank you for all your replies/help/suggestions.
