My computer take longer time to boot. If i start my computer after more than 5 hours gap like at morning then it take around 10 mins to show the boot screen(i have dual OS Win 7 & Win 10). And if the system shutdown for a week it take much longer time. First i start my computer for 4-5 hours then i press the restart button then it shows the boot screen. This problem occurred when the system shutdown for more than couple of days or a week. Can u guys tell me what's the cause?

Thanks.

maybe harddrive is wearing out ......

My system is 3 years old so maybe it's hard drive problem. Should i check the hard drive using HDTune? Will it show anything? Any good software for checking?

Thanks in advance.

i don't know name but u can google health checking software for hard drive u would find one.

Take back-up of all imp stuff if, not done yet.

Most likely HDD is giving up.

Check warranty availability, 3 yrs back most HDDs had 3 yr warranty periods.
