PC Peripherals Powersafe 500W Dying???

i just installed Asus Probe after a long time to see if the CPU temps have reduced dude to the cool weather now and i find this



2.8V on 3.3V line...this is dangerous rite?

what could be the problem?

i dont think a 512MB KVR,A643000+,FX5200,2HDD,1 Optical drive would be putting so much load on the PSU would it?

the Powersafe is still under warranty....should i get it replaced ASAP?wht reason should i give them?

BIOS also shows the same reading.

pls help me out guys.

ne guides as to how to use the multimeter to check the readings and so on?

12V line in BIOS is showing as 12.XXX so its fine i guess.
 
Check with Everest Home Edition also. I got scared on seeing the readings from Asus P C Probe but when I checked with Everest the readings were better :p

I know this is not 100% conclusive but if you cant get hold of a multimeter, then at least check with Everest

ok guys i tested it with a DMM
bad news :(
reading on DMM is 3.02V ,5V and 12V rails r fine.
will get it replaced soon.......have called them
BTW just bought this beast :eek:hyeah:
