We are renovating our home and I took the chance to run cat6 cable between floors. The main modem is downstairs and I need a access point in my first floor covering two rooms. I have a few questions:
1.We just have a 60mbps plan and so is a 300 mbps wifi router enough?
2. Is dual band wifi necessary? Our main modem is a dual band and I have never noticed a difference between 5ghz and 2.4ghz. (Though I never tried streaming games)
3. Which device to buy? Should I go for device like this which is simple, no cables, just plug and play
