I am researching on some basic Smart Home stuffs.
For that I need info on some of the thing as I have no idea on electronics
1. I want to have some sensors like room temp, humidity, light etc.
2. Want to control DTH from network using some IR blaster.
3. may be one or two smart switches (later)
I already have a RPi2, which I am planning to use it as server with Domoticz or OpenHAB.
Now I am not sure about the hardware to procure.
For my requirement #1 & #2, can I use a Orange Pi Zero or One? Or an Arduino Uno with esp8266 module ?
(both comes in similar price range ~700-1000 INR or so)
Also, can I use Kodi and Domoticz/OpenHAB on the same RPi ?
