The people on OFW's as well as CFW's, here is a link which can save your PSP "in future".
This thing creates a NAND dump "without" using a PANDORA's battery, so I suggest you to make a dump as soon as you can. I have tried it myself. Works perfectly. I am running 4.01 M33-2 but it also works like a charm on 3.xx kernel (Actually, it was made for it).
Once you have a Nand dump handy and something goes wrong in future (the 'things' even a Pandora + MMS can't recover), the only solution left will be to sell the PSP on ebay for peanuts or Restore the DUMP. It is just like reviving a nearly dead PSP.

I suggest you give a thorough reading to NAND-knowledge before/after using it. It has no risks, but the more you read, the better.
