I think I read that after global version phones purchased after some specific date don't qualify for warranty.

If anyone has information on this, could you share it please? I heard global version phones will have warranty coverage, but wasn't sure if it was only for phones purchased before a particular date.

Also I think the warranty is for existing Indian customers. Think if global one is bought after the phone was released in India there wont be any warranty.

As announced earlier, the warranty support in India is limited to users who have already bought the global version of the One from our official website. Going forward, local warranty support will not be available if a device is bought from outside India and vice versa as the service cost, terms and support infrastructure varies in different markets.

Last time also , i had a PS3 up for sale here, but even that was sold through olx.
