NFS Carbon Drift thread

nicee, i stopped playin carbon once i got that 11.49 mil score, i kno much better scores are possible, keep trying..........

1 more thing i drifted at 204-205 mph, u maxed out at 198 :p, i beat u there :p, JK mate !!

yeh, some1 called " Fav0rit " got 10 mil on knife's edge :p ( where as i cud only manage 8 mil :p ), like quad said, some1 keeps doin better than we do, i dunno if i can do better, i havent tried after i got those scores, maybe i'll try when snake beats my score, which may happen by tommorow :p

15 mil on Fortuna Heights, 11.49 mil on Gold Valley Run, 8.2 mil on Knife's edge, 8.8 mil on Copper Ridge

so 15 mil is mah highest score :p

well....., if u check another thread on TE ( i think its called carbon drift world record .... - created by Arun ) u will find my knife's edge drift video ( 8.2 mil ), I have the copper ridge vid of 8.8 mil but i didnt edit it, i guess i wont post it coz i feel i didnt do well on that track and i dont have a vid of the 15 mil score on fortuna heights ( jus a screenie which was posted by me in this thread :p), i jus played that track for a day so i didnt make a vid of that :p

I can post the links here !!!, if the other guyz who have seen those vid's dont feel like it is spam :p

^^If u want points then u need speed and for that normal brakes give u more speeds...
do not install brakes, thats the best thing to do, any good racer in Carbon, MW wont use brakes, he will either use " gear brake " or lift off the throttle ...

if brakes are not installed it decreases the weight of the car, trust me this works, jus play with the stock brakes that come along with the car, they ROCK !!!

Try drifting without brakes/handbrake in real life..:p

eh ...., whoz talkin abt real life driftin' here, i kno how it is done, we are talkin abt " CArbon " drift here :p, so jus stick to the topic and talk abt driftin' in carbon :), u can drift at 210 mph in carbon, very few cars in the world can touch those speeds ( forget driftin' at those speeds ) that too on very few tracks, so thrz no point comparin an arcadish game " Carbon " with real life...

i jus want to make it clear that, I do HAVE some IDEA abt drifin' in real life :)

Actually i have played (or rather finished) NFS MW, and found drifting much more realistic in that game. I could not drift without braking at all, and somehow the car's dynamics felt very real life. Another game having close to real handling is Gran Tourismo (PS2).
You are right, NFS carbon is too arcadish
