PC Peripherals New Rig Recommendations

Budget: Rs.30,000 (All Inclusive)

Usage: General Use, Light Gaming (Onboard Graphics will Suffice)

The following rig has been suggested by a good friend :) :
Motherboard: MSI with oboard Graphics 6100 Nvidia + 7.1 surround sound

Proccessor: AMD X2 3800+

RAM: 1Gb DDR2 (Preferably Hynix or any other with Lifetime Warranty)

HDD: 160Gb SATA II

DVD Writer: LG GSA H10N

MOnitor: Samsung 17 inch 798MB

Keyboard, Mouse: As preference

Cabinet, PSU: ???

Will the above fit within 30k ??? If anyone can post approximate prices it would be helpful :).
Also, can anyone suggest an Intel option in the same budget (with approx. prices please). Is Conroe an option in 30k ??

I basically need your advice regarding Mobo, Proccessor and the PSU.

Hmmm...Let us see..

Proccy: Core 2 Duo E6300 - 9.5K
Mobo: Asus P5LD2-VM - 5K (One of the cheapest C2D board..You can always get a better one later!!)
RAM: Transcend 1 GB DDR2 667 - 5.5K
HDD: 160GB SATAII - 3.1K
DVD-RW: BenQ 1650/Sony DRU 820A - 2K
Monitor: Samsung 17" Flat - 6K
Keyboard+Mouse: Logitech - 0.6K
Cabby: Navtech/Intex/IBall - 1K
PSU: Zebronics 360W Pure - 1.5K (A local PSU would cost around 500 bucks)

Total: 33K (Not Bad!!) :eek:hyeah:

Lets see what the experts have to say..;) :bleh:

PS: Do you already have a UPS?
 
Raghav, before I make suggestions, are you planning to go with onboard graphics? What games besides Q3 do you play? Ideally, try to fit a graphics card in to your upgrade.

P.S. Whatever happened to that 7300GS you got from ESWC? :D

Ya the RAM prices are more or less correct..They've recently shot up a lot!!

UPS - APC 500VA should be good enuff for this config ~ 1.9K
