Samsung’s Galaxy S IV smartphone is not official as of now, though it might be formally announced sometime in March as the successor of last year’s Galaxy S III and the new flagship smartphone from the South Korean mobile phone maker.

For the time being, however, users are left wondering what the handset vendor might have in store for them with this phone, and what new design it might adopt.

One enthusiast, however, found it fit to come up with his own render of the smartphone, and coupled with a series of hardware specifications that might very well be included inside the actual smartphone when it is unveiled.

For the time being, however, the photo to the left is only the product of a user’s imagination, it seems, and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Even so, it’s still worth nothing that the aforementioned hardware specs are in line with what was previously rumored for the phone, including a 5-inch 1080p Full HD Super AMOLED+ Display (Samsung is supposedly set to kick off mass production for it this month).

Furthermore, the concept device, which borrows some of Galaxy Nexus' looks, is said to feature a 2GHz A15 Exynos 5450 quad-core processor, complemented by 2GB DDR3 RAM and featuring the ARM Mali T658 GPU.

A 13-megapixel photo snapper would also be included in this phone’s specs list, with support for full HD video recording and accompanied by a front camera for making video calls.

The phone is said to arrive in 16GB / 32GB / 64GB flavors, with a microSD memory card slot for further storage expansion. A Li-Ion 3,100 mAh battery would also be included inside the device, it seems.

With 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS receiver, the smartphone would feature all the capabilities that can be found in today’s high-end devices. Furthermore, it would run under Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, with Samsung’s own user interface loaded on top.

For the time being, there’s no guarantee that Galaxy S IV will arrive on shelves with all this hardware packed inside, but we’re roughly six weeks away from an official unveiling, it seems, so stay tuned to learn more on the matter.

All the specs in the world and a price tag of the iphone 5. Welcome to android "apple" price style.

With newer tech also comes means of manufacturing it cost effectively. But all we know is newer is better and costlier than the old.

But good to see other competitors like zte, etc come up with with affordable tech.

Choose smartly, live well. ;)

ya dats true... I don't think samsung will remove d hardware button in s4... Even it is present in note 8.0 leaked images, i mean dat fkin button made dat leaked tablet's look so shit...

According to recent reports in South Korean newspaper Korean daily, Samsung has decided to keep the physical Home button for its Galaxy S IV upcoming flagship. If the reports are true, this means that Samsung will indeed keep the two capacitive buttons (back and menu) on the both sides of the home key.

That news and recent ruling blows the chances of purchasing a decent model i think.
Hopefully US model will be without the h/w button, and with the recent ruling of no unlock codes, i dont know what chances are there that the phone will be readily available/unlockable for outside buyers (i know the ruling doesnt affects the non US buyers.. but still sceptical.)
Lumia codes havent been released to outside people who have purchased it.. right ?
