Storage Solutions Need storage upgrade advice for VFX Studio.

So, our studio is going through some overhauling and its time to upgrade our storage systems.

Basically, we need fast internal HDD like 10k RPM Raptor or anything similar.And solid, reliable and long lasting external drive for our stock footage and elements library.

Internal HDD would be required to have at least 500GB-1TB of storage.
External HDD would be required to have 2TB or more.

I'm not very familiar with the state of HDD in the market right now and I also know that the prices have gone up.So, I require some advice regarding this, so that I can get started with the overhauling.

for internal you could get the wd raptors.

i dont know how reliable a regular external would be for studio data.

i would suggest to get hdd bay like the raidon or sans digital and set it up with raid1 or raid5.

if you really require a lot of portability for the external then i guess any 2tb wd or seagate should be fine.
