^^Pretty much similar performance but the AMD Athlon IIx2 runs cooler is cheaper and is a more upto-date platform with native DDR III support, the IGP (HD 3200, supports HDMI 1.2) is also better than the Intel HD graphics you get on the G31 / G41 chipset.
