Need inputs on buying a sofa set in bangalore

hi Guys,
Looking to buy a sofa set in Bangalore (2+1). Any pointers to what things I should consider and where can I get the best bang for buck in Bangalore ?.
How is rubber wood furniture ? Is it durable and will it last?
eagerly awaiting replies. :)

I don't know about the weather in Bangalore but here is what my knowledge about rubber wood. It is generally very brittle and is generally polished in natural shade which is white/cream hence is pretty difficult to maintain.

Also make sure that sofa set is in solid wood as quite a few shopkeepers pass away compressed board(MDF/Particle) also as rubber wood. I would strictly advise you against compressed wood products as they have a small life and is generally not repairable if anything gets scratched/damaged.

Also these days what is in is straight line furniture which is generally found in full covered sofa sets. If you want i can help you with few pics.
