Thanks for the Reply :)

After searching a little bit i have planned to stretch my budget by little more than 10 k

Below are the components which i have finalized

CPU : Intel Core i5-2500K @ 3.30GHz
Motherboard: Asus P8Z68 – PRO (inquired Ashirvad in SP road, around 12500 ~)
Hard Drive : Green WD Green 1 TB
Cabinet: CM Elite 430
PSU: SeaSonic S12II 620 OR Corsair TX650
RAM: Gskill F3-12800CL9D-4GBXL
Keyboard and Mouse : RAZER Combo around 2.4K
Optical drive: LG or Sony or Lite On SATA - (i am not able to decide which is best)
CPU Cooler: Is this required for my cong, if yes which would be gud one.

I would want some improvements in the above config if its within the range
Basically i want to know if my Cabinet and PSU is gud or i can find better than that with little more money than the existing one's

I really appreciate the Help:)

If you're stretching the budget by 10k, buying the Core i7 2600k makes more sense, and also a better cabinet. THe PSU is an overkill for your graphics card, even a good 500Watter can do the job.

WHat I mean is this:

CPU: Core i7 2600k

Mobo: Spend lesser, about a sub-10k mobo

HDD: Seagate HDDs are much much faster, and their power consumption is almost same as the WD green drives(dont let 1W difference make you sacrifice performance), Seagate 1TB HDD

Cabinet: CM Centurion or something would do justice.

PSU: Corsair VX550W(more than enough for future upgrades too)

I dont think i7 2600K is VFM for gaming. You pay ~45% extra form ~8-10% extra performance is not worth it.

If you hadn't got a GPU then you could have got a GTX560 or HD6950 2GB. But now put the moolah in a better cabinet like the CM 690 and save the rest. Also get the Seagate 7200.12 instead of WD Green. Much better performance.

are you sure that he gave you a quote of 12.5k for Asus P8Z68-V Pro? i am asking this coz SMC is selling this mobo for 14k... So i dont think that he must have told you the price of Asus P8Z68-V Pro... i think he must have given you a quote of 12.5k for either P8P67 Pro or P8Z68 - V

A much better cabinet than both you mentioned in the price range NZXT Tempest EVO, comes with the fans - 6 fans (4x 120mm, 2x 140mm), all with the dust filters on and it is called the AIRFLOW KING just for that, one of the coolest cabinets \,,/ \,,/. Heres a review --

NZXT Tempest EVO Review - Page 1/6 | techPowerUp. Available at Golccha Inter-Trade ~ 6000/-

If you plan on acquiring the Cooler Master eLite 430 another worthy contender is NZXT Gamma (better air-flow and cable-management) than all the Cooler Master eLite series ~ 2100/- (from Golccha @Bangalore), heres the review --

NZXT Gamma « XSReviews. The only drawback is the Gamma lacks fan (only a rear exhaust is provided) and dust-filters (which incidentally none of the eLite series has either).

Okay and if you are buying Corsair SMPS, please do not go for the GS (Gaming Series) OR the CX (builder series), get a Corsair VX 550 ~ 4400/-. How are you getting the Corsair TX 650W so cheap? This is the cheapest quote I found online -- Theitdepot - Corsair 650W Power Supply With Single 12V RAIL (CMPSU-650TX)Theitdepot - Corsair 650W Power Supply With Single 12V RAIL (CMPSU-650TX).

The Cooler Master Hyper 212+ is a better cooler than the TX 3 and I would say go for that instead of trying to save by purchasing the latter. Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler Review / http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1223/5/.

But if you're into serious over-clocking then I suggest get the Noctua NH-U12P SE2 ~ 3750/- http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1196/1/, the best 120mm air-cooler available.

The Razer combo you're speaking about is called the Razer Cyclosa = Razer Abyssuss@1800 dpi + Razer keyboard(don't remember the name) ~ 2500/-. Decent combo, better than purchasing a Razer Arctosa seperate.

Hope this helps
