Hi all

I am planning to buy additional RAM for my pc this weekend. Currently i have 2 X 1 GB DDR2 RAM (Transcend 800mh) installed in my mobo.

I want to know if I can install an additional 1 X 2 Gb single DDR2 RAM stick. Does it has to be Transcend only or other brands like Kingston or Corsair will also work fine with my current RAMs. My mobo Intel DG33Fb does not support DDR3 ram. Will there be any issues if I install in this arrangement (2 X 1 GB and 1 X 2 Gb) which makes a total of 4 GB RAM?? Or is it better to just buy another 1 X 1GB DDR2 ram (any brand). I know that the frequency of all RAMs should be same.

Also I have 4 slots for RAM. I do not know properly what the dual channel system is.

Can any1 please suggest me the right thing...

Thanx in advance....

^^ Dude no worth upgrading a DDR II based system, wait for this PC to die and upgrade to a newer up-to date standard, i.e. -- DDR III OR DDR IV depending when you upgrade and which platform.
