PC Peripherals Need a config for 20k

Hi guys..., I need a cpu for downloading and little gaming and general computer works...' I don't need any moniter as I will b using my samsung 32inch 5series lcd tv..'

I will connect it through hdmi port so need a gpu tht has a hdmi port...'

Intel and Amd both r welcome but a ddr3 based rig....' my budget is 20k but 7k more I can extent total 27k...'

Usually a CPU means processor. But from what you are saying .. it seems that you want a computer w/o display. That is still a computer .... and not a CPU.

A CPU in the 20k range would be a Core i7 ... but I don't think that is what you wanted.

Since you are gonna be using LCD TV, also check if it has a good response time. Higher response time means more chance ghosting while playing games especially FPS games.

If gaming is more important though, it might be a good idea to drop in a Phenom II x2 processor in lieu of the x4 Athlon II.
 
Ohhhh guys I am really out of my mind after getting my new lcd tv...!

I mean a rig without moniter....'

it will b used 4 mainly downloading frm net...'so it will run nearly 24 hours... 365 days....' I mean all the time except power cuts...'

Secondly 4 little gaming in mid settings....'watching hd movies and general office works...'

My budget is max 27k and it includes all the stuff needed and a wireless keyboard and mouse....' I would use my samsung 5 series 32inch lcd tv as my moniter...'

So guys suggest a vfm config with a good gpu with hdmi port...'

I like the config but dude I was keen on a ddr3 based rig....'

I also need a wireless keyboard and mouse combo...' don't need hdd as o hav a 500 gb in stock...' but its of seagate faulty series 7200.11... Wht to do guys...?

Amd rig in am3 platform... case with good cooling and looks..' a strong psu and a good gpu with hdmi ports and can handle games @ mid settings....'

A quadcore cpu and ddr3 based rig and a powerful psu..a case with good cooling and looks...' a wireless keyboard and mouse....' a gpu which can handle games @ mid or high settings and watching hd movies...' I will connect it with my 32inch lcd tv so a hdmi or dvi port needed in gpu...'
 
If you want, a quad core and ddr3, go with config suggested by Karthi007. Superb config. If you don't need a hard drive, spend that money to a wireless keyboard, mouse combo from logitech.
 
Guys Wht abt phenom 2 x3 720...?

I want a config on this and karthik007 config is in my consideration...'

The PhenomII X3's prices have dropped and now costs only 6.5k. Check the price @ www.deltapage.com. All depends of your needs. For general usage the AthlonII X4 will do nicely. More and more s/w will make use of quad core. If you do not pla n to upgrade in 3 years go for the AthlonII X4620.
 
As you have a separate gaming rig and this rig will run 27x7, I'd rather suggest a dual core with low TDP. get either a Phenom II X2 or an Athlon II X2 (Both are Am3). And for graphic card, get the 5750/4770 whichever you like.

A good case with good cooling and looks... How abt zebronics antibiotics... Hdd 1 tb which one seagate or wd..'

Exactly the same config except one change. Get the Cooler Master Elite 335 with the PSU. The PSU that comes with this cabinet is the 400W Extreme Power one but has the advantage of having 20A on the 12V rail. This PSU doesn’t sell in retail. It comes as a combo. The PSU that sells in retail are the 390W and the 460W which don’t have this feature. Also, this 400W PSU comes with the Connector for Graphics card as well which can be used if you upgrade to a more power hungry card.
 
For a decent gaming set up the the athlon II X4 and a good GPU will suffice. Although prices have reduced still he price of phenomII 955@8.9k will not fit your budget. Try getting a phenomII 550BE and unlocking it to quad core. The zebby pro are good PSU's. You can go for it.
