Monitors Native 1440p Monitors

Looking for a monitor with native 1440p resolution.
Or can i just get a 1080p monitor and run it at 1440p?

How can you run a monitor higher than its max resolution? It's like asking whether you can get a 200cc bike and run it at 350cc. It's a hardware limit. Not possible.
