Price range :: 12000-15000

Moto is withdrawing from India region. Though since the model is an older one you would probably get official service for couple of years. But resale value might take a hit.

If you really need the secondary camera, then go for the XT else go for the Plus. There's more dev support in terms of custom ROMs for the Plus than the XT. Apparently, they have separate skins out of the box - Plus has Motoblur and XT has Motoswitch. However, if you gonna use custom ROMs it doesn't really matter.

if you are planning to go custom, get one of the out of warranty atrix/photon/droids available on classifieds- try low balling the sellers you might get them in your budget
