Hi there, My system config is as follows.

Core i5 2500k
Asus P8H61 B3
8GB DDR3 1600
HD 6770 1Gb DDR5
Seasonic 620w
BenQ GL2450

Since you know I'm using H61 motherboard for my setup, I am getting a decent deal of used Asus P8P67 B3 (rev3)motherboard for 6.5K . As per my own research, this is a great motherboard for mid-range gamers but doesn't support SSD cache, Lucidlogix , native USB 3.0 etc etc as seen in Z77 chipsets. To be frankly, I wanted to go for Asus Z77 V Pro, but invested in large zoom camera. So, whether the deal I'm getting is good enough to upgrade from H61 motherboard ? or, should i wait for 4-5 months and then upgrade to Z77 ? I'll be using a HD 6770 gpu at this moment.

Looking forward for your valuable suggestions.

Dont fix what aint broken. Why change the MB at all ? Is there some feature on the board you are changing to that is worth the money ?

I say for 6-7k find someone coming down from the US and get a 120 GB SSD. Your system will fly.
