Mobiles Around 6K & 10-12K

I am looking to buy 2 mobile phones. One in the range of 6k and another 10-12k. Touchscreen option is also welcome.

So please tell which one I should look for.

1. Q: Budget?

A: Bar

3. Q: Preferred display type?
A: TFT

4. Q: Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them.

A: Touchscreen

6. Q: Camera required or not? If required, please specify type like front camera/flash/etc.
A: Required (any).

7. Q: Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A: Android

8. Q: Preferred connectivity options? (3G, Wifi, Edge etc).
A: 3G.

9. Q: What is your intended use for this phone(internet, camera, multimedia, mails, etc)?

Its mainly for calling/receiving purpose. Battery life should be good.

For that purpose why go for such costs mobile phones? You can get cheaper ones for this purpose.

Though since you have asked my recommendation would be,
For 10k-12k budget:
Sony Xperia Tipo ~9k-9.5k -> Comes with ICS out of box. Has a compact design and a 1500mAh which should give good battery life as the phone has a smallishj 3.2" HVGA screen.

For 6k budget:
Samsung Galaxy Pocket ~5.7k-6k

I wouldnt recommend Tipo to anyone , had to visit Sony service center for RMA of Smartwatch which was DOA , saw atleast 10 cases of Tipo being DOA ( see pic below ) , there are lot of problems which may be with the ROM or something else . And Sony service ( Accel Frontline ) is pathetic , atleast in Bhopal .

u can consider the HTC explorer or if u are ok without warranty then Pantech Burst is a great buy through ebay .
