Mobile Phone operating systems query

I do not know much about operating systems for mobile phones. Now recently in one paper i read about the new motorola phone having a linux operating system and since i use linux on my desktop i'd say its great....however most reviews i read diss the motorola OS.

so point is that can anyone give me a comparison of the operating systems or a link to the same with some reasons why one particular os is better than the other.
 
Moto's been using LINUX on its high end phones since a very long time now, but all of them reported lot of errors and difficulty in using.
 
Maybe Rokr E2 using "Jeux" OS signify a new dawn fr Motorola.........

JEWX= JAVA + LINUX

moto always had the looks and atti, now perhaps with good OS, they will have the much deserved success in india
