They showed how hackers can get into mobiles & do stuff on India T V. While this is not exactly new news but good to see it coming in mainstream media. Looks like downloading some rootkit or something (perhaps disguised as a game or something) & either sending it to that phone either through data/SMS or through bluetooth (anybody remember bluetooth snarfing) . While I'm not so savvy with mobiles but can think of lot of grief people can do with it. This is gonna make lot of grief for our humble policeman.

A simple search gives me Bluetooth - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia as well as Wireless hacking - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia . Shudder to think how the experts might be doing it
