Microsoft Word Save Error

I am using microsoft office word 2007 on my Windows 7 laptop now whenever I try to save a document an error keeps coming each time Word cannot complete the save due to file permission Error. Can someone please guide me how to overcome this problem without having to reinstall Microsoft office

Try disabling Windows Search.

Start > Run dialog, type "services.msc", locate "Windows Search" and double-click it, then for "startup type" select "disabled" , and click "Stop", if it's enabled

Does it happen in Safe Mode also?
You can run Word in safe mode by typing winword /a after clicking the Start icon.

If this solves it then most probably it's a third party software or add-in issue.

Have you tried saving the file on your "my document" folder?
I guess it has something to do with the permission you're saving the file on.

create a new temporary folder anywhere and try to save in the new folder
is this a work machine/ personal? work machine may have some dlp software to prevent you from misusing corporate data
