Micromax Canvas Doodle A111 is now available in India. The Canvas A111 is is positioned between the Canvas 2 and Canvas HD and comes with Snapdragon S4 Play quad-core processor and 5.3 inch qHD display.



The Canvas A111 is a dual-SIM smartphone running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset with 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A5 CPU and Adreno 203 GPU, similar to the Galaxy Grand Quattro, though the RAM is only 512MB which is a big disappointment.

It has same 8MP rear camera with AF and dual-LED flash and 1.2MP front facing camera. The display is bigger 5.3 inch , with qHD ( 960x540 pixels) resolution.

ha ha! Doodle! And if MMX is rebranding Chinese models, then how come a quad core (Cortex A5!!!) has 512 MB RAM? Most of the Chinese phones nowadays have 1 GB RAM.
 
its a new SoC from Qualcomm , its Cortex A5 but still not that bad , better than dual core A9s in terms of CPU performance ( check Galaxy Grand Quattro benchmarks ) , but the Adreno 203 is slower..
