Hello!
I just received my copy of MGS 5 from Flipkart and when I put the DVD in it says "please insert disk". I haven't used my DVD drive for a few months now and I've tried reconnecting the wires and stuff but it still doesn't recognize any disk so I'm assuming it's probably dead (2 years old).
I understand that the installation disk only contains a 9MB installation file and the rest of the files are downloaded through Steam. For the people that own the DVD, do you think it would be possible for one of you to upload the installation (or ISO of the DVD) somewhere for me to download it (like wetransfer)? Since I have the CD Key all I needed to do was -
- Launch the Steam client software and log into your Steam account.
- Click the Games Menu.
- Choose Activate a Product on Steam...
- Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.
