Mega Zoom PnS or 300mm lens

I have a entry level DSLR (Canon 1300) with the 18-55 kit and a 50mm prime lens.
That suffice my indoor or portrait requirements for weekend gateways. But I am missing the 'zoom' sometime.
May be because once I had a 35x Zoom capable Canon point and shoot (Sx30IS) and I sold that while getting the dslr (a decision I regret now).

Anyway, I am looking to get one of those Zoom cameras now.
But I am unable to find one in e-retailers. I have zeroed down to Panasonic Fz50.
Nikon P1000 seems a little bigger and costly too.
But seems FZ50 is listed above 50K in few sites.
If I get a PnS, I can use mobiles for portraits, which are quite capable these days. Got an iPhone11, which captures quite decent, even in low light.

I have also considered the option of getting a 'zoom' lens (250/300mm). But those are also seems a bit scarce now. Or am I looking at the wrong places !!

So, my query is....
Option 1 : Shall I go for a entry level zoom lens (300mm)? If so, from where?
Option 2 : Get a Zoom PnS. Which one and from where ?

Any input would be appreciated. TIA.
