For refurbished products the seller provides 6 months warranty usually, which I feel is very unreliable going by reviews left. But if the product is within the manufacturer warranty period can one avail that? Has anyone had any experience with this?
A few days back I purchased a refurbished deepcool dq750m-v2l, which has a 10-year warranty provided by the manufacturer. So I called amazon to know if I would be able to avail the remaining manufacturer warranty; this amazon customer care was unable to confirm or dismiss. All they said was that seller provides 6-months warranty beyond which they don't have info. Usually warranty transfers between owners, unless the product has been tampered with or any circumstance that voids the warranty. So what is stopping amazon (or any other market) from clearly disclosing this?
