Hi,
I have installed Mandriva 2007 spring.

But i am not able to connect the bsnl data one net.

plz someone help me , i am new to linux.

In general if ur BSNL Dataone modem is configured in PPPoE mode, then ur broadband should work by default.

But i think by default all BSNL dataone modems are configured in Bridged mode. So, to run ur broadband connection in Linux, u have 2 options:

1) Configure ur modem in PPPoE mode so that it will work on Linux without any configuration.

2) Configure ur modem in Bridged mode and do the required configuration.

I am writing a small howto on this and will update u in 2-3 days.
