battery replacement is 11.5k+2k service charge from apple. as friend has the same macbook with 5700mah remaining & 454 cycles. stock is like 7000mah+ his also showing service battery

Take a look at this Laptrix Laptop Battery Compatible A1496 A1377 A1405 MacBook Air 13 inch A1466 (2017, Early 2015, Early 2014, Mid 2013, Mid 2012, Mid 2011) A1369 (Mid 2011, Late 2010) MC503LL/A MC504LL/A MC965LL 4 Cell Laptop Battery on Flipkart

That's 7150 mAh battery. Rs. 4.7k.

An outside service personnel would charge anything from Rs. 500/- to Rs. 2k to replace the same.

A 6700 mAh battery or 2k mAh battery would be even cheaper. 7150 mAh battery too can be found for close to 3.5k.

Apple store prices are absolutely inflated. Their component prices are ~twice what you can get from elsewhere.

There are technicians who do as good a job in repairing/replacing the same.

33k shipped, or 32k + shipping if anyone's interested.
the system has been updated to Big Sur.

can install windows if your work requires through various modes, I'm currently using remote desktop app to run certain windows softwares.

everything is perfect - the way it should be, apart from the battery reliability. i wouldn't trust this thing to last 30 mins on 100% charge as of now on the current battery.
