MacBook Air 2012 vs ASUS ZenBook Prime UX-31A

Foregoing my camera purchase to get a laptop for college.Need one for presentations(video out) long typing work and browsing.Narrowed down the choices to the new MacBook Air and the ASUS ZenBook Prime.
Leaning towards the ZenBook because of the HD IPS screen and black look,otherwise the 2 are very identical except for the OS.
Will be getting it from the US. 1150 for the ZenBook and 1199 for the Air.
Any reason to go for the Air?

If you want Higher Battery Life and OSX, go for AIR
Better screen and Windows, go for ZenBook..
Simple!
