I have a project suitable for final year students of engineering/mca.
The project is based on Linux Kernel 2.6. After initial prototype, this can be released as opensource. Students will get good exposure on Linux kernel, PC hardware and offcourse good visibility in opensource community.
Students are expected to be familiar with Basic Linux Kernel compilation, booting etc. Basic knowldege of PC hardware, PCI etc. will be a big plus.
If you are final year student looking for a nice project and if above sounds interesting, kindly PM me with your brief profile and details of your exposure in Linux Kernel. Exact details of project can be discussed in person. Since myself and company, both in Bangalore, students from Bangalore will be prefered.
