Lenovo announces the waterproof, A660 Android smartphone

Lenovo is about to release their first ever waterproof smartphone features with an IP67 certification which literally means that it has dust and water resistance for upto 1 meter for 30 minutes.

The Android phone also features Dual SIM functionality with 3G connectivity, a 4 inch screen which is covered by Gorilla Glass, a rear 5 Mega Pixel camera and also a standard VGA front facing camera, as well as a 1GHz dual core processor. The A660 is being powered by a 1500 mAh internal battery. Pricing or availability of the phone are unknown as of now, but it is estimated that the phone will release in China first.

Thanks for the news Aman, why does the SONY XPERIA gO look better as a more rugged device.

Dual SIM and larger battery are the main draw of this piece but let us see if the dual-cores are efficient enough OR shall they falter.
 
Looks like MT6577,dual cortex-a9's cant be bad.
I'd imagine 200~250$.
The rugged phones are one good trend that came out of Japan,It's nice to see that other markets are also embracing it.
