Laptops Laptop RAM upgrade question

i just bought gr1m's DELL e1705. it has 1 gb ram on it which i am planning to upgrade to 2gb.

i'd like to know how much it would cost, which brands/types of ram to buy and if anyone lives in pune, suggestions from where i can get it done here.

First find out what type of RAM you have installed in the laptop by using some programs like CPUZ.

The E1705 supports DDR-II up to 667 MHz.

if u dont get any solutions, then check out upgradation in dell site.probably they ll send u the required ram online and then dell technical person (most probably from wipro infotech) ll fix it for u.just check out in dell site or ask the dell sales person.
