Guys, whenever i try to start my A64 PC it says
"BAD BIOS Checksum.....Starting Recovery....." and just gets stuck there.
I read up on the net and found that this is where Crashfree kicks in and reflashes the BIOS frm the given support CD.
i tried putting the CD in the CD ROM drive but no use it just stays on that screen.
also copied K8N-E.rom file on to a floppy and still no good
is the MB dead?
i read that the BIOS chip on the MB can be replaced.
ne idea where i can get it replaced?cost?
MB's warranty got over so cant return it.
The only thing i had done is update the BIOS to version 1011 a week ago and it was working perfectly until yesterday.
