Is DEEPCOOL Fan Hub (Controls up to 4 PWM fan) >> http://www.deepcool-us.com/Product/Fun_Hub/ safe to use ,...particularly from the point of damaging the chasis fan header & along with the motherboard to which the DEEPCOOL Fan Hub will be connected in due/longer course of Time? (even if the effects are Not seen apparentlyt/beginning)
The Idea being the Chasis Fan header is supposed to run a Single PWM fan instead of running the 4fans which can be connected in this particular Fan Hub ...,therby creating anamoly in the power & voltage supplies of the fan header Herby stressing out that header & creating further problems eventually leading to damage of the header & the motherboard itself ! Maybe I am putting the whole thing in a very non-technical way,...but if you can get the drift ,the core of my question is just about that !
I'm currently at the crossroad of installing few chasis/cabinet fans (maybe 4/6) in my CM Storm Scout2 cabinet but my New mobo ( Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 > http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97_EVO_R20/#overview ) does NOT have enough fan headers to connect them all ,...,so i'm at loss of ideas how to connect/install all the fans in the cabinet, other than including an extra fan hub inbetween,...the Only thing stressing my mind how good or safe will be such an install ,particularly from a longer term perspective of any possibilities of damages to the particular chasis fan header & the motherboard as a whole due to stated factors above? Do my fears & apprehensions have any ground or am i reading too much?
Any clue or bright ideas regarding this issue are very very welcome !
,or anyone in a similar situation with a Deepcool Fun Hub,..just like me & also with a similar thought?
