CPU/Mobo Is an AMD Phenom II X6 1100T BE compatible with MSI 790GX-G65?

Hi.
I am about to upgrade my processor before AMD pulls the plug on Socket-AM3 chips after Bulldozer arrives.

I have an MSI 790GX-G65 motherboard and I want to upgrade to an AMD Phenom II X6 1100T BE.

I have two questions:

1. Will my motherboard support this processor
2. Will my GlacialPower GP-AL650AA PSU be adequate for my new setup which includes a Radeon HD5850 card?

^^ Yes Sire, it will support the Thuban cores, just flash your BIOS to the latest release.

Also, the power supply you have is sufficient for your RIG with some power to spare to add more hard disks and so forth. Hope this helps, cheers!!!

The reason I originally posted this message was that the MSI site doesn't list this as a supported processor! The list ends at the Phenom II X6 1090T. Do you think I should be concerned about this?

Let's hope I can find the processor in SP Road (Bangalore) this weekend.
