PC Peripherals Is 450W enough for my hardware components????

My PC Config:

AMD 64 3000+
MSI K8N SLI Platinum
2GB RAM = 2x512GB + 1GB
2 X 320GB SATA HDD = 640GB
1 Portable HDD = 80GB
ATI Radeon X600 PRO
LG DVD Writer
450W SMPS

My PC hangs after a certain period of time. I think its the problem with my RAM..since one of my RAM is single channel and others are dual channel. So the combination doesnt suits my system. If so can u suggest a combination.

One of my HDD doesnt detect sometimes. I need to unplug it and replug to get detected. So i need to know whether this SMPS is enough for my hardware components.

450W is overkill for that system.....but since that is the lowest available these days thats the only choice. Ram is the problem, so look at a 1X1 gb kit if possible. this will be the best for you. Cant comment on your HDD. For smps, look for cm 460 or zebby pro series 350/450 watts. Zebby will be better VFM for your rig.
 
which 450W SMPS is the question

if its some crappy chinese OEM with Indian label, then yes, it might be the issue
If its some branded one, 450W SMPS is more than enough for your setup
