Ipod touch 8GB(5th gen) - cheapest price and warranty query

[font=trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif]I was able to find couple of deals in ebay for ~11.5k. Have a 10% w/o limit coupon, so the costs comes to 10.35k. Are there cheaper deals around?[/font]

[font=trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif]AFAIK Apple provides 1 year international warranty for iPod and we just have to register it in Apple's site. So even in case of grey market items the 1 year international Apple care warranty holds, right?[/font]

The iPods do come with international warranty. Some of the eBay retailers might have the older stock and if you were to check the warranty status using the serial number of the device, you may find that the remaining warranty is less than 12 months. In this case, the invoice of your purchase should help you claim the warranty for the remaining period.

When this device leaves the factory, the serial number is entered into the database with some buffer period. Most devices get sold before the clock begins to tick. Some others don't. In such cases, you may need the invoice. Otherwise, you do not need the invoice to claim the warranty from the authorised service center. The warranty holds good for grey market goods as well.

Yeah. Among most Apple devices, their iPod lineup sell for extremely competitive rates in the country. Possibly owing to the mass numbers in which they are sold compared to the rest of the devices.
