Asus P7H55D-M Pro is a worthy replacement in my books ASUS has similar boards to GIGABYTE in the Price range just their RMA service recieves a lot of flak for non-performance and rude behaviour

How much warranty on Gskill Ripjaws/Trident RAM ?

Around 9K for a Trident 6 GB kit no details known sorry, hope this helped , Ripjaws should be around ~ 7K

i-5 obviously, as it is gets less heated as compared to any other AMD processor.

Go for the i5 760 if gaming is ur priority. Better avoid asus now. Go for gigabyte. if gigabyte not available, get msi.
