Just wanted a second opinion on the config below. It looks like sandy bridge motherboards are not easily available at the moment so I may buy the motherboard online and get the rest from stores.
edit: prices from Online store -

Intel Core i5-2500 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) Desktop Processor
Rs.11,199
Asus P8H67-M PRO Motherboard
Rs.8,649
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD6850 11180-00 1GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
Rs.10,739
Corsair 4GB DDR3 1333 MHz CMV4GX3M1A1333C9 Desktop Memory
Rs.3,019
Corsair CMPSU-450VX 450W Power Supply
Rs.3,559
Cooler Master Elite RC 430 RC-430-KWN1 Mid Tower Computer Case
Rs.2,759
Seagate Barracuda ST3500418AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA Hard Drive
Rs.1,999

Totals to 42K + shipping to WB (approx 2K)
Is there anything that can/should be changed or is NOT compatible?

wow prices look out of the roof..........................

rest of the guys should put more light on this......

here are the prices for my rig i found out from ctc hyderabad

Intel Core i5 2500 @ 10,100/-

Gigabyte H67MA-UD2H-B3 @ 6,950/-

Corsair 2*2=4GB DDR3 1333Mhz C9 @ 2,200/-

GPU -- HD 6850 1gb 10,600/- ( hades posted than this was high and i should ask for 10.2k)

Yes I've checked these in stores in Kolkata and will get a better price there. More than prices I wanted to check if the hardware is compatible or not.

Ppl from Kolkata, can anybody post some prices please. I checked Supreme, Technocrat, Eastern Logica and a couple more and the prices I got were around
9.9K for i5 2500K and 10.2K for ATI 6850. MB wasn't available.
PSU (Corsair VX450) + Cabinet (Coolermaster) + RAM (4GB*1) + HDD (1TB WD) around 11K.

I haven't started bargaining till now though.

edit: @ sarang and pavan : Thanks for posting, have checked it out. Prices that I'm getting from stores here are round about the same.

@ darkangel - Yes I'm aware of that thanks for the post.
I have 2 configs in mind (2500k + Asus p67 - Gigabyte wasn't available) OR (2500 + any H67 Mobo)
But problem is that 2500K is coming bundled with Intel P67 MB and all dealers I talked to weren't keen to sell it otherwise.
I'll have to wait till this weekend for new updates regarding prices and availability.

Also after going through these forums I think I'll get i2500 and save up some cash on the Mobo.

This is the configuration I'm going for -

Intel Core i5-2500 Processor Intel Core i5-2500 Processor
Gigabyte GA-H67M-D2-B3 (rev. 1.1) Socket 1155 GA-H67M-D2-B3
Gskill[ Ripjaws ] DDR3-1333(PC3 10666)(4Gx1)

Can anyone please let me know if this config is ok? Planning to purchase it by Monday so any help would be appreciated.

Go for XMS3 1600mhz you will get good potential on the memory bandwidth :) . BTW no shops have stock of sandy bridge now . I picked up my combo and saw the wait list it was huge :p .

which in turns offers pretty much nothing in real world apps. If you can save significant money with the 1333MHz RAM, you'd better go with it.
