Is HTC Desire available in Bangalore?

I checked at a couple of places, all told that no stock, need to check after 3 weeks.
Also, if it's available, then what color? Black or the Brown one?

Thanks.

There is a store named Vector Telecommunications opposite to Raheja Arcade (near TheMobile Store). Check there

You can use Google Maps from Android Market. That's for free.
But you can't download maps for offline use.

There are alternatives available (Brut maps and some others) where you can save map tile to phone for offline use.

Hmm... couldn't find one anywhere in Chennai either (did get an assurance that they would have more stock by Diwali though).

May no longer be worth getting one now though. Especially with dual-core mobiles set to hit us late next year.

HTC Desire is available at Univercell Live showroom in Nungambaakam. Picked up one for 29.5k with additional 8GB card and accidental and theft insurance. Got a bag and wrist watch as freebies.
