Obviously, the 826 is better. But it is not yet available in India. So you may get the 820 which has similar specs.

Problem is htc is changing/launching the models at this price point too fast. 816 ->820 ->826. Note that price of 816 collapsed due to this and of course Mi! Unless you are very keen on htc, you can check out the Yu Yureka, assured updates thru' CM ROM and decent build.

Personally I would never spend double the money which you would, if you plump for the htc over similar offerings, that offer 80-90% build quality but better features at 60% of the cost.
