I want to make an audio server which can serve the output directly from my soundcard's output like a radio server to other computers in my local area network. Pls tell any free softwares available for this purpose.

dude i tried it on lan using winamp...but tht didnt work
the best i was able 2 get was use windows media encoder to stream the sudio....
others had to connect to my server using windows media player
