How can i confirm if my PS3 is dead or having power issues ? Trying on 60" smart/android ONIDA tv but wont connect.

Was the old tv HD ready by any chance ? You may have to reset the video output settings in that case.
Hold the power button on the PS3 for about 30 seconds when it's on, it should give 3 beeps and turn off, then press the power button again.

Yes try this it will reset the video resolution to 480P IIRC

I dont recollect this old 32" series 6 Samsung TV died last year.. and bought this ONIDA..
Will try again the method you have listed.
