Hotmail Login warning !

Should i be worried ?? ... every time i log into my hotmail account i get this warning .... Been happening fairly recently

i did check .... that particular website is the genuine one
 
Post screen shot of the certificate which gets downloaded next. This should not come under normal circumstances. Its happens when either the certificate is expired or misconfigured at the server end or in case of MITM attack. AFAIK.
 
OS : windows xp
browser : Firefox 3.5.7

No certificate was downloaded .... i unlocked it by giving it exceptional permission

How does that effect FF's secure login ?

Because your browser fetches date from your system to check the authenticity and validity of secured certificate :hap2:

Time to make your PC live in Present, rather than in Past/Future :p
 
The certificates are valid for a definite period

Firefox(and other browsers) check for the validity of the certificate based on your

system date and time

if your system date and time is outside the validity period you will get security warnings
